Dr. Luci Shin, DMD

Dr. Luci Shin is a general dentist at Center for Advanced Dentistry, dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Shin is passionate about caring for patients who lacked access to dental care growing up due to financial barriers. She understands that for many people, a dental visit is more than routine care—it’s an opportunity to restore both their oral health and their confidence. One experience that continues to inspire her was treating a patient in recovery from substance use disorder who felt self-conscious about her smile. Watching her confidence return after treatment reinforced Dr. Shin’s belief that dentistry can positively impact a person’s quality of life in meaningful ways.

Committed to making every patient feel comfortable, Dr. Shin takes the time to listen to concerns, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patients feel informed and in control throughout their visit. Her compassionate, patient-centered approach helps put even the most anxious patients at ease.

Outside the office, Dr. Shin enjoys giving back through music. She has volunteered by performing at Children’s Hospital and UAB Highlands Hospital, bringing comfort to patients and their families during their healing journeys.
